Lesson 116 of 170 · Level 4 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning the philosophy of the way: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (philosophical expression: … ずにはいられない), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

A late-night conversation with a sushi master in his closed restaurant, discussing the meaning of 'michi' (the way)

Midnight at the Sushi Counter
