Lesson 114 of 170 · Level 4 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning critiquing food culture: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (complex conditionals and rhetorical structures for debate), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

A panel discussion at a food symposium in Omotesando, debating tradition vs. innovation in Tokyo dining

The Omotesando Symposium
