Negotiating with Grace

Lesson 108 of 170 · Level 4 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning negotiating with grace: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (indirect negotiation: softeners, conditional requests, and face-saving refusals), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

A contract negotiation between a restaurant group and a premium fish supplier at Toyosu Market

Dawn Negotiation at Toyosu
