Mi Piace — Expressing Preferences

Lesson 7 of 170 · Level 1 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning expressing preferences: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (piacere + mi/ti/gli — the backwards verb), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

Da Enzo al 29, Via dei Vascellari, Trastevere — a neighborhood trattoria that has survived fifty years of tourism by staying exactly the same. Cacio e pepe. The menu needs preferences vocabulary.
