Lesson 150 of 170 · Level 6 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning poetic translation across languages: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (诗歌翻译的技法 — techniques for translating poetic form and feeling), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

Xin Rong Ji (Nanyang Road), a Zhejiang fine-dining restaurant where you translate Tang poetry over seafood
