今天是我在上海的最后一个晚上。朋友们把我带到了永福会，一家在法租界的精致餐厅。虽然来上海才三个月，但是因为每天都通过食物学中文，所以进步很大。
小李举杯说：「虽然你一开始把声调说得乱七八糟，但是现在你不但能点菜，而且能写食评了。」大家都笑了。小王说：「我记得你以为小笼包是日本的。」我说：「那是因为没人告诉我！」
服务员把一道一道精致的菜端上来。宁波菜被做得非常细腻。我用我学到的所有中文来描述：「这道菜不但摆盘做得像艺术品，而且味道令人惊喜。总的来说，无论是食材还是做法，都值得推荐。」
大家都被我的表达惊到了。小李说：「如果你继续这样学下去，很快就能把中文说得跟上海人一样了。」我很感激这段旅程。因为通过食物学语言，所以每个词都有味道和记忆。这不但是学习，而且是人生中最精彩的体验。
