You are learning integrating all structures: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (integrating 把, 被, connectors, and complements), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

A Homecoming Meal

1221餐厅在延安西路上，因为做的是家常菜，所以被很多上海人当作自己的「第二个家」。虽然装修不是很新，但是因为味道好，所以客人不断。

今天我把所有朋友都叫来了，一共六个人。虽然我们到得有点晚，但是还是找到了一张大桌子。服务员把菜单递过来，我们点了红烧肉、油爆虾、葱油面和清炒时蔬。

菜端上来以后，大家都把自己最喜欢的菜夹到了碗里。因为红烧肉被做得太好了，所以不到十分钟就被吃完了。小李把最后一块夹走的时候，小王说：「你把我的那份也吃了！」大家都笑了。

虽然只是家常菜，但是这顿饭吃得非常开心。如果你问我什么是上海的味道，我会说：被朋友围着，把简单的菜吃到一点都不剩，这就是上海的味道。这种感觉不但温暖，而且令人难忘。
