Mejor Que / Peor Que — Irregular Comparisons

Lesson 38 of 150 · Level 2 of 6All lessons
In this lesson

You are learning irregular comparisons: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (mejor / peor / mayor / menor — irregular comparisons), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.

The scene

Reading and writing restaurant reviews. You sit in a café with your phone, reading what people said about last night's restaurant, and writing your own review.

La Reseña · The Review

The traveller reads a review of Sobrino de Botín on the phone. « "Imprescindible. Es mejor que cualquier restaurante turístico. La relación calidad-precio es excelente. El cochinillo es el mejor de Madrid." »

Then a negative one. »

The traveller writes their own review. »
