You are learning describing experiences: you will read the scene it happens in, learn 10 words and phrases, take apart the pattern behind them (fue / estuvo — describing past experiences), hear them in a conversation, rehearse them, and finish by saying one thing out loud to be graded.
Reviewing a restaurant experience. You sit in your hotel room writing a message to a friend about last night's dinner at Sobrino de Botín — the oldest restaurant in the world.
The traveller writes to a friend back home. »
The message continues. »
A reply comes quickly: "Was it expensive?" The traveller types back: « No fue barato, pero mereció la pena. La experiencia fue inolvidable. Quiero volver antes de irme de Madrid. »
