दोपहर के बारह बजे हैं। मैं Shree Thaker Bhojanalay में हूँ। यह कालबादेवी में है। मुंबई की सबसे मशहूर गुजराती थाली यहाँ मिलती है।
मैं बैठा। एक बड़ी थाली आई। उसमें दाल, चार सब्ज़ियाँ, रोटी, चावल, अचार, पापड़, और मीठा था। सब कुछ एक साथ। मैंने दाल से शुरू किया। बहुत अच्छी थी।
वेटर बार-बार आ रहा था। 'और रोटी?' 'और दाल?' मैंने कहा 'हाँ, और रोटी दीजिए।' फिर 'थोड़ा और दाल दीजिए।' यहाँ सब कुछ unlimited है।
आख़िर में मैंने कहा 'बस, बहुत हो गया!' पेट भर गया। बिल सिर्फ़ तीन सौ रुपये था। मुझे लगता है यह मुंबई की सबसे अच्छी थाली है।
