रात के नौ बजे हैं। मैं कोलाबा में बादेमियाँ गया। यह एक मशहूर कबाब स्टॉल है। ताज होटल के पीछे है। बहुत भीड़ थी। मैं लाइन में खड़ा हुआ।
पंद्रह मिनट बाद मेरी बारी आई। मैंने सीख कबाब और रुमाली रोटी ऑर्डर किया। कुक ने तंदूर से गरम कबाब निकाले। धुआँ उठ रहा था। खुशबू लाजवाब थी।
मैं सड़क किनारे बैठा। कबाब बहुत नरम और रसीले थे। रुमाली रोटी पतली और मुलायम थी। मैंने सब कुछ ख़त्म किया।
मेरा दोस्त भी आया। उसने भी ऑर्डर किया। हमने साथ में खाया। रात का मुंबई बहुत ख़ूबसूरत था। बादेमियाँ की रात हमेशा अच्छी होती है।
