सुबह मैं Leopold Cafe गया। मैंने ईरानी चाय और बन मस्का खाया। कैफ़े पुराना और ख़ूबसूरत था। लोग अख़बार पढ़ रहे थे।
दोपहर को मैं Britannia & Co. गया। मैंने बेरी पुलाव ऑर्डर किया। रेस्तरां भरा हुआ था। बगल में एक पारसी अंकल बैठे थे। वो हर हफ़्ते आते हैं।
शाम को मैं Marine Drive आया। चौपाटी पर भेलपुरी और पानीपुरी खाई। बहुत तीखी थी! सूरज डूब रहा था। समुंदर से ठंडी हवा आ रही थी।
रात को Mohammed Ali Road गया। कबाब बन रहे थे। कुल्फ़ी खाई। लोग हँस रहे थे, बच्चे खेल रहे थे। मुंबई का दिन लाजवाब था। बहुत मज़ा आया!
